‘Tis the art season again! Once more I am being enticed to spend money to buy lovely pieces of art at various art exhibition openings. I must remember to leave my credit card at home – I have no more room on my walls! Last week, my little group of art lovers visited two openings on the same night, enjoying meeting old friends and new people while savouring a glass of wine and tasty bites.
The first event was at the Art Society of T&T (ASTT) in Federation Park. They have a large space that easily accommodated numerous pieces from two very talented artists: Sandra Solis and Jonathan Solis. I especially loved Sandra’s works with coloured glass. Their social media tags are

We then visited Horizons Art Gallery where we were bowled over by the beautiful paintings created by Jacqueline Guzman and Beverly Thomas. Here are images of this exhibition which closes on Saturday, 16th November. I highly recommend that you visit the gallery on Mucurapo Road.
